featured projects and services
Nextlink - Line of Sight Surveying (Washington D.C.)
Aerial Spectrum performed LOS surveys to confirm visual line of sight of specified heights on existing structures via photographic analysis and/or flash testing for the Nextlink backhaul network in theWashington D.C. area. As a cost saving measure, Aerial Spectrum's photographic analyses of structures up to 6 miles away typically provide enough LOS information to cut our clients' costs for flash tests, and any other LOS services that might be incurred.
As an added benefit, Aerial Spectrum also offers the service of our engineers performing constructability surveys simultaneously with LOS services. Foremost, performing a constructability survey up front at the LOS stage alleviates the need for an additional site walk at a later date, thus saving time and money by capturing crucial site data and measurements in the beginning of the site development process. Having engineers on site in the beginning stages of network design adds value in that construction issues can be identified immediately, avoiding delays and killed sites down the road. This process has a proven track record.
